Shapes and Colors - Learn about color blending and use sponge stamps to create a cool mosaic tile. We’ll also make a yarn painting and a color-weaving project. Plus, everyone goes home with a scrapbook from the workshop! 

Caring and Sharing - Bring out the best in your troop as we create friendship pins and cards for kids in need.  We’ll also talk and play a game that shows how differences are good. We wind up by using your photos to create a My Friends Are Great! scrapbook. 

Friends are Fun - Make two friendship bracelets to show a friend you care - one to keep and one to share! We’ll create colorful stationary using stamps and create ‘you’re special’ messages to other troop members using a secret code. Lastly, we’ll paint ceramic flowerpots for your friendship flowers.

Business Wise - Participate in a round-table discussion about paint- your-own-pottery studios. Also create a plan of action for your dream business, complete with an advertising campaign. All girls go home with a Business-Wise workbook to capture their ideas.

Ceramics and Clay - Learn about ceramics, glazing and kiln-firing in this fun workshop!  We’ll also learn a Bas-relief technique and see different examples of folk pottery.  We also hand-build with clay.

Art to Wear - Explore your individual fashion sense by designing a cool batik pattern.  We’ll look at trends and styles in jewelry and and create our own necklaces.  The whole troop also makes a fashion mural of international clothing and dress styles.
